Granavitalis Porridge - How To Guide

How to leverage ancient grains for modern gains with this nutrient dense, protein packed power porridge.

Step 1 Ancient Power - Take 50 grams of your favourite ancient grain flour or a combination of flours and add it to a glass microwave friendly bowl. At Granavitalis we recommend a combination of ancient grains to enhance micro nutrient profile, you can find out more here

Step 2 Protein Punch - Add 50 grams of your favourite flavour Whey Concentrate powder or Vegan Protein powder. Casein powder also works very well.

Step 3 Add Flavourings - Add any additional dry powder based flavourings, Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cocoa, Berry Powders etc. all work well, remember to compliment them with any flavours from your chosen protein powder.

Step 4 Mix It Up - Take 500-ml of water and add around 150ml-200ml of the water to the dry mix and stir with a fork thoroughly until you have a thick paste consistency. If you are using a vegan protein we recommend 250ml - 300ml of water to create the paste. When complete add the remaining water and stir into the mix

Step 5 Heat Things Up - Place the mixture in the microwave and heat at a power setting of 1000w for 1 min, when finished stir the mixture thoroughly with a fork and and repeat the process again.  When complete stir thoroughly again and the porridge will start to thicken up. Repeat again for 30 secs - 1 minute depending on the desired consistency

Step 6 Serve It & Power Up - The Porridge is ready to go, add any additional toppings as required. Nuts, Honey, Seeds, Fruits & Berries all make great power ups
